Granite: Chocolate Bordeaux
This unusual coloring gives the polished stone slabs a very sophisticated look, which works especially well with wooden furniture, both in lighter and darker colors, adapting well to both more traditional or modern setups.
This island blends with the stone tiles amazingly.
To avoid being too obvious though, you can opt to use it a tabletop, instead of countertop, choosing another material for granite’s traditional place. As it is quite a rare type of granite it is certainly in the more expensive end of the spectrum (although it is not quite in the top price bracket). At present 2cm slabs do not seem to be available. If you look around online you may find some cheaper slabs now and again – but it’s never going to be truly cheap.
